Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and Transfer to your Hotel
Arrive Entebbe international airport, and depending on your time of arrival, we have optional activities that can be arranged for you upon arrival.
Entebbe lies on a peninsula in Lake Victoria, a location offering good opportunity for birding around the Lake shores.
Entebbe, through Ziwa to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National Park with an enroute visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Ziwa is the only place where you will be able to see rhinos in the wild. Presently the sanctuary is home to Southern white rhinos. Lunch and proceed to MFNP, visit the top of the magnificent falls before checking in at the Lodge.
Boat cruise to the Delta is a fantastic opportunity to discover the amazing wildlife along the river banks as you cruise towards Lake Albert. The delta formed when the river reached the northern shores of Lake Albert and is home to elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a range of rare wetland birds, including the famous shoebill stork. It is considered the ‘birders’ paradise’ in the area.
In the afternoon, go for one of the highlights of your visit to Murchison Falls National Park – boat cruise for a close-up view of the Murchison Falls from the bottom while observing the wildlife found along the river banks. You will notice quite a number of water birds by the river banks.
Discover Kibale Forest National Park, a birders paradise with 320+ species and a haven for Uganda’s majestic chimpanzees. Drive through Hoima, soak in scenic beauty, and savor lunch before exploring the extensive forest trails. Unforgettable adventures await!

After breakfast with a gentle drive; transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park past the Rwenzori Mountains – “Mountains of the Moon” as they are commonly referred to you will notice a change in the vegetation cover as you approach the Park keep an eye on the game. Check in at the lodge, lunch and later we shall have a late afternoon game drive to Kasenyi side of the park- if it is the season, you will be able to see the beautiful flamingos by the Salt Lake.
Experience an exhilarating morning game drive, followed by a scenic boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel at 14:00. Marvel at the channel’s 32 km stretch, connecting Lake Edward and Lake George, as you encounter over 500 tropical bird species and Africa’s largest concentration of hippos. Following breakfast, transfer to the National Park Headquarters to meet your guides for the day and begin your gorilla tracking experience. You will be guided by experienced guides into the dense forest in search of the Mountain gorillas. It is a life time experience viewing the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Mountain gorillas are extremely rare with only an estimated 880 remaining in the wild. This is an experience you won’t soon forget!
Transfer to the Ivy trail starting point, and walk through the Forest to the other side Bwindi Forest National Park. This is such an interesting experience walking through the forest enjoying the natural sights and sounds of the birds.

Before driving to Entebbe, embark on a nature walk in Lake Mburo where you may have the chance of viewing the grazers like the Zebras, bush bucks, elands, Impalas, grazing local cattle and a vast number of birds. Lunch, and thereafter, start for Entebbe.
After an early breakfast, drive to Mabamba swamp for birding or go by boat from Nakiwogo. This wetland is situated west of Entebbe on the shores of Lake Victoria, and it is home to over 300 bird species including the rare shoebill stork. Late afternoon/evening, go to the botanical gardens; the gardens are an opportunity for birding enthusiasts, it has an assortment of several plant species most of them indigenous to Uganda.
Bid farewell to Uganda as you savor a delicious breakfast. Later, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your international departure flight.
