After breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to Kasese, the gateway to the Rwenzori Mountains. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way. Check-in at a comfortable lodge and relax in preparation for the hike.

Start your trek from Nyakalengija trailhead, accompanied by experienced guides and porters. Hike through lush forests, crossing streams and enjoying the diverse flora and fauna. Reach Nyabitaba Hut and spend the night in this cozy mountain accommodation.

Today’s hike takes you through bamboo forests, moss-draped valleys, and giant lobelias. Ascend to John Matte Hut, situated in the heart of the Afro-montane zone. Marvel at the stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

Experience the challenging Bigo Bog, a unique landscape with a series of boardwalks. Ascend to the magical Bujuku Valley, surrounded by towering peaks. Reach Bujuku Hut and rest for the night.

Today’s hike takes you through breathtaking alpine scenery. Ascend to Scott Elliot Pass, offering panoramic views of snow-capped peaks. Descend to Elena Hut, situated near the enchanting Margherita Peak.

Embark on an early morning summit attempt of Margherita Peak, the highest point in the Rwenzori Mountains. Enjoy the exhilarating feeling of standing on the roof of Africa. Descend to Kitandara Hut for overnight stay.

Descend through beautiful valleys, passing by glacial lakes and cascading waterfalls. Arrive at Nyakalengija trailhead, where your hike concludes. Bid farewell to the Rwenzori Mountains and transfer back to Entebbe for departure.
